We are a Greek startup company founded at 2018 by four MSc Students and friends, who are passionate about both food and technology. With an expertise in Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, we work together in order to create applications that will make people’s life easier and make them have memorable experiences. At 2019, we participated in a venture capital contest for startup companies in Washington and we were awarded first place, winning $100.000, making our idea become a reality.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to eliminate any doubt of customers while placing their orders and at the same time make restaurant owners provide a successful and unique service, by presenting the menu dishes on screen through augmented reality. We use the latest Augmented Reality technology so that our app eliminates this problem worldwide. Being the first company that suggests this specific breakthrough, we always take into consideration the needs of our customers for exact update regarding their dishes and make dining a wonderful experience.

Eleonora Argyriou
Graduate of Greek Philology of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with previous work experience in sales. Currently completing her Master in Services Management at Athens University of Economics and Business. An enthousiastic traveller seeking for adventures and food experiences. "Appetizer" is a great opportunity to work on a distinctive idea with an amazing team.
Michael Giannoutsos
He is diagnosed as a workaholic, a keen traveler and a food lover. He is graduated from University of Piraeus, Dept. of Industrial Management and has previous experience in AI, Data Analytics and Augmented Reality. Right now he has the position of the Chief Technical Officer on Appetizer. In his free time, he studies a lot and takes part in several volunteering activities.
Ioanna Blathra
Graduate of the department of history and archaeology at the national and kapodistrian university and postgraduate student of the program Master in services management at Athens University of Business and Economics. Previous work experience in the horeca clientele. As a food worshipper the idea of the Appetizer was for her very different and innovative
Georgia Papazekou
She is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business in the field of Marketing & Communications. She has an approximately 2 yeas experience as Marketing Assistant and now she is eager to get her Master’s Degree in Services Management. Except marketing, her favorite occupation is food, so “Appetizer” gives her the perfect chance to combine them.
